Recently unmarried bi guy, looking for fun and inspiration as I it figure all out.
Left a 20 year marriage a few months ago to learn more about the "other side" of my sexuality. I still think of myself as bisexual, but currently want to figure out if a gay relationship will bring me more happiness and satisfaction than the hetro relationships I've followed for the past 40 years. I am not so much seeking a "life partner" right now, as looking for someone who is willing to explore with me, both in the sexual realm and in finding new ways to make life meaningful and exciting. I'm hopeful that this will turn into something meaningful - but that is secondary to learning and enjoying right now.
I live in a community that offers great opportunities for sports, hiking, biking, kayaking, food, and social interactions. I'd like to take more advantage of all of them. I have a great and satisfying job. I have enough money to live well, and a comfortable house to live in. Travel is a goal, but not my first priority right now.
I love giving and getting massages. I love conversation that has a similar purpose and methodology ... rubbing all of those places that are a little tight or constricted, and seeking the release which comes from concentration on letting go, and although it sometimes involves a little pain, feels great as it happens and leaves me relaxed and refreshed when it is over. I work hard to stay in shape and like the feel of masculine muscles. I also like the male mind, perhaps because I can understand it so much better than the female version.
I don't yet know how I want to resolve my interests in both men and women. I have not yet seen or even imagined a model of how this can work in my life over the long term. Right now, I find that my interest is in men, and most likely that is the direction for which I am destined. But anyone who wants to spend serious time with me needs to understand that this is still a uncharted journey, and long-term commitments are not yet either wise or likely.
I am smart, verbal, and outgoing. I have a strong personality, and am very present most of the time. I'm a kind, caring, giving person who is much more interested in saving the world than owning it.
That should give you enough to decide if I am worth following up with.
